2010 PYSA Baseball
In an effort to serve the baseball needs of Prosper, PYSA has decided to offer both AA and A level baseball this season for U8 and U10 leagues. The players wishing to play in the A level will go through a try-out and be drafted by a team. The AA teams will be formed by individual coaches and not participate in Dixie League Baseball. Players will be allowed to play in both leagues if they wish. The 75.00 will apply to each league. (150.00 for both)
Players that do not participate in A level, will not be eligible for Dixie League All-stars.
Players participating in A level must turn the proper age during the season or receive permission from commissioner to play up.
T-ball, U6, U12 and U14 will play through Dixie only and will have only the A level.
T-ball will not have a draft or try-outs. Players will be placed on teams by the coaches.
Teams will still be responsible for their own uniforms and bats. PYSA will provide balls, helmets and catching gear.
Coaches that want to have a team in the A level must sign up by February 15th.
Coaches forming teams for the AA level must have rosters turned in and players registered by February 22nd.
Registration will end February 22nd!
Try-outs for A level have been scheduled for February 25-26-27th.
The draft will take place afterwards.
No refunds will be given after the try-outs have taken place, and a 10.00 fee will be applied to any refunds before February 25th.
Players must reside in the PISD boundaries or attend a PISD school.
