2008 WINTER BASKETBALL |

Prosper will play in the McKinney League again this year. We are working towards bringing basketball to Prosper. In
addition to having a place on your registration form to provide any comments/suggestions you may have concerning this,
you may email your basketball commissioner at basketball@prospertx-sports.org.
You will be seeing information about this during the year, so please feel free to comment/respond. Your feedback is valuable to us. |
The following are the team formation rules. They are the same as last years.
- If you are a returning player, you may request the same team.
- If you are a player that has been picked up by a competitive team that you did not previously play on, you may select that
team when registering. This will be verified via the competitive coach's submitted roster.
- If you do not request a team, you will be entered into a draft. You will be asked when registering whether you wish to
play recreational or competitive. If you choose competitive, every effort will be used to place you on an existing
competitive team - if spots become open once the returning players are assigned.
- The recreational draft is purely random. You cannot asked to be placed on a team with a friend.
- Coaches submitting a team must turn the roster into the basketball commissioner so he may form the correct team. Each
player must register individually.
