Little League announces bat rule update for 2012

For majors and below, the rule on bats allowed has not changed. All bats must be 2 1/4" and composite barrelled bats are not allowed unless they are on the approved list below.

APPROVED BAT LIST

Players and coaches using approved composite bats must have this list with them at all games to show umpires or opposing coaches upon request.

For the Juniors division, 2 5/8" bats are allowed. Any composite barrelled bat must be a new BBCOR bat. Any non-composite barrelled bat meeting all other Little League specifications is allowed.

The NEW penalty this season for stepping into the batters box with an illegal bat is an automatic out.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be granted, less a $15 processing fee, until February 11th.
After February 11th, no further refunds will be granted.
