Registration Now Open
Registration for the Spring 2012 Youth Volleyball Season is open now through Feb. 21 at www.lonestarvolleyball.net. Click on the “Registration System” tab to register an individual athlete or team. (NOTE: You cannot register for volleyball through the PYSA Web site.)
Volunteer Coaches Needed
Youth volleyball is growing in Prosper. With that growth comes an urgent need for volunteer coaches, so we can continue to create new teams. You do not need to be an "expert" to coach. In fact, Lonestar Volleyball provides several training opportunities each year for volunteer coaches. As a bonus, there is a $25 discount for your child if you register as a volunteer head coach, so register today to be a volunteer coach at www.lonestarvolleyball.net.
Player Placement
If you have played PYSA volleyball previously (i.e. in the Spring 2011 or Fall 2011 seasons) and your coach has registered (or will register) your team for the Spring 2012 season, please confirm placement on the team first with your head coach and then register to play on that team through the Lonestar web site.
We will place unassigned athletes from Prosper on existing Prosper teams (if there are openings) or create new Prosper teams. Some unassigned Prosper athletes may be placed on Frisco teams, depending upon the number of new volunteer coaches.

About PYSA Volleyball
- Prosper Youth Sports Association athletes and teams compete through Lonestar Volleyball Club in Frisco.
- The league is for athletes in Grades 1-9.
- All matches are played on Saturdays.
- All matches are played at the Lonestar Sports Center, 10570 John Elliott Drive (#600) in Frisco
- Divisions are divided into Recreational (1st-6th grades), Competitive (6th-9th), and Select (5th-9th, tryouts required)
- The cost is $120 (Recreational), $145 (Competitive), or $300 (Select).
- Practices for Prosper teams are held either at the Lonestar Sports Center or in Prosper ISD facilities. There is an additional fee for court rentals if your team chooses to practice in Prosper.
